Namibian Photos

These past few days, many thoughts and emotions have run through my head. Thoughts on racism. Thoughts on the beauty of landscapes, and animals. Thoughts on missing Argentina, and getting accustomed to a new continent, and a new type of travel.

And yet when I sit at the computer, these thoughts don’t want to come out.

So for now, I’ll leave you with some of my favorite photos from our first week in Namibia.

Sunrise in the desert:

Miles and miles of space free from people. We would drive for hours and only pass 10 other cars:

Our pimped out ride: complete with roof-top tents:

Visiting 2,000-5,000 year old rock paintings in Twyfelfontein:

Animals galore in Etosha National Park:

With our A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. travel partners, Nat and Kate.

    Hey Blair,
I just wanted to say hi and let you know that I heard all about your wedding and this wonderful trip you and your husband are on. I wanted to congratulate you all of these wonderful life events and for the great opportunities you are taking. I have been following your blog, and it touches the part of me that feels closest to home and to the place where inspiration and freedom live : ) Thank you for sharing this with all of us, and I wish you the most heart touching travel experiences for your journey. I feel so lucky to even know you during our Granada experience, and am happy to know that both of us have leaped onto other adventures through love and travel, and know that they will always be with us : ) Despite our not talking for a few years now (I think it's been 5 years actually!), I feel close to you still through the feel I get of your interests and values through your decisions, blogs, and what I hear about you through the grapevine as I ask around : ) Love, Marisol
